Anthropic is a frontier AI research lab developing AI models, called the Claude family of models.
Their flagship model, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, recently got upgraded with a feature called "Computer Use," which enables it to autonomously perform tasks on a PC.
As part of the partnership with Amazon, Anthropic will train its AI models primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and leverage AWS's Trainium and Inferentia chips to optimize model training and deployment. Anthropic is also working with AWS's Annapurna Labs to co-develop next-generation AI hardware.
